Art Junkie Podcast: A Hit of Inspiration for Creatives!

Meet Your Host

I’m your host, Kathleen Hassan, former life coach and motivational speaker turned artist and now podcast host. I named it Art Junkie because I’ve been sober in recovery for 21 years and know a thing or two about addiction, and by far, art is the greatest high I’ve ever experienced!

My podcasting journey started years ago when I hosted my own cable TV show, The Bright Side, which earned me the “Best Series Produced by a Woman” award from the New England Cable and Telecommunications Association. I’ve always been deeply curious about what makes people successful and resilient. As a former member of the National Speakers Association, I co-hosted, Voices of New England, where I interviewed speakers from across the country and produced a monthly recording for members of the New England Speakers Association. Long before podcasts and digital media were mainstream, I was creating content and distributing it via cassette tapes, laying the groundwork for what would eventually become the podcasting phenomenon. Now, as an artist, I bring that same inquisitiveness to Art Junkie. I love diving deep into the creative minds of artists, musicians, and healers, uncovering their stories of triumph and challenge, and sharing inspiration for all of us navigating our creative paths.

This podcast is a continuation of my lifelong passion for connecting with people on meaningful levels, where art and life intersect.
